Privacy
Ballet Atlas is built to need as little of your data as possible. There are no accounts and no sign-in, nothing is tied to your identity, and the only thing that leaves your device is anonymous usage analytics, which you can switch off any time in Settings.
What stays on your device
The app runs entirely on your device. A few preferences are saved in local storage so the app remembers them between visits:
- your theme choice (light / dark / system);
- the movements you bookmark;
- your analytics choice (see below).
This never leaves your device, isn’t tied to your identity, and you can clear it any time by clearing the app’s data.
Analytics
Anonymous usage analytics are on by default, and you can turn them off any time in Settings. They count anonymous actions (which movement was opened, how often search is used), never the text you type or anything that identifies you. They set no cookies and no identifiers, and they honor your browser’s “Do Not Track” / Global Privacy Control signals. No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no selling of data, ever.
Feedback
If you send feedback or request a movement, we receive the message you write. Adding your email is optional and used only to reply to you. Leave it blank to send anonymously.
Purchases
The optional one-time unlock is handled entirely by Apple’s App Store. We never see your payment details; the App Store simply tells the app whether the unlock has been purchased.
Children
Ballet Atlas is a reference tool suitable for all ages and collects no personal information, so it can be used without an account by dancers of any age.
